This is the second volume of Yasaburo Kuwayama's Trademarks and Symbols, and the Japanese edition. Where the first focused on alphabetical designs this follow up takes a look at "symbolical designs". The primary organisational principle is by shape for those that are abstract, and grouped by figurative relationship for those that are grounded in the concrete. These groupings include Human Figures, Eyes, Tools and Birds, for example, with the abstract being grouped under Circles, Squares and Triangles. All texts are in Japanese.
