I have to admit: I am a logo junkie. Nothing excites me more than reveling in the history of logo development and the approach to designing them. I'm always looking at trends, researching on the masters (hello, Milton Glaser & Seymour Chwast!) and getting into the minutiae of why simplifying an old logo is for better or worse. Thank you in advance for your newsletter, Richard - it satisfies my creative soul!
One of my favorite logos of all time is OneFootball by DesignStudio. It's dead simple, scalable, on brand, so smart and yet so well crafted right down to the line weight, angles and balance. It's the kind of logo design I wish I created! https://www.design.studio/work/onefootball
I too love your newsletters, RIchard. I always learn something new every time I read it! Thank you!
