In Issue 30 of Logo Histories’ Research Archive we have assets from the Asahi beer rebrand from 1986, which is still in use; the logo and graphic elements for Japanese television station FTV and Japan Energy Corporation designed by Toshihiro Yamaguchi & Hiroyuki Kita, with Saul Bass as a consultant. I’ve also added the Konami logo and Sony Entertainment logos having just found the dates and designers for both.
Research Archive is a look at some of the materials I’ve picked up to write Logo Histories. If you’d like to support this project and access our Logo Histories archive which now includes 100+ stories of logo design of the past (the biggest of its kind) as well as receiving new stories straight to you inbox, click the button below and upgrade to paid.
